In an effort to highlight alternative narratives and celebrate independent creators, Aaron Hansen conceived, funded, and brought to life The Other Scene™ - a platform dedicated to original series and specials. Launched on YouTube in Fall 2021, the platform quickly gained popularity. By August 2022, two captivating seasons and 17 episodes of the acclaimed CAPTURING THE INTERNET docu-series had been released. The results speak for themselves: the channel has amassed over 1.5 million views and 70,000 watchable hours, and the numbers continue to grow.
Drawing inspiration from the Alternative Press of the past, The Other Scene™ serves as a beacon for counter-cultural conversations. Historically, such publications stood out by amplifying stories and ideas that were often overlooked or undervalued by the mainstream.
